As it is known, in Odessa during 15 – 18 of September 2004 there will be conducted scientific – technical seminar – symposium “Modern tower cranes, formworks and scaffolding, lifting appliances”. During activity of this seminar it is planned to discuss problems of tower cranes renovation and modernization in Ukraine (86% of which, according information of the State labor protection and supervision agency of Ukraine, had already worked out its normative service life), problems of diagnostics and expertise of tower cranes, questions of use of modern tower cranes, formworks and scaffolding, lifting appliances. Participants of this seminar – symposium will have possibility of computer presentation of their product, and also part – time participation. Besides, there is possibility of conducting of express exhibition of separate exhibits (details in organizing committee). At present about desire to participate in seminar claimed about 100 building corporation and companies from Kiev, Donetzk, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk, Simpheropol, Sebastopol, Ternopol, Lvov, Charkov and other big Ukrainian cities, which are mastering the main volumes of building and assembly jobs in housing, industrial and civil building. Also in activity of this seminar are going to participate such big tower cranes producers, lifting appliances and its parts as Rzhev crane building factory, Nikopol mechanical plant, Uchta mechanical plant, Karacharov mechanical plant, Saint – Petersburg mechanical plant, Odessa “Red Guars” plant, OJSC ‘Baltcrane”, design organizations

Reconstruction of production of tower cranes in Ukraine – it is really – this is point of view of “Nikopol crane building plant”. In the middle of the 90 – th, this plant was the leader of tower cranes production in the countries of the former USSR. But even now, when the plant almost during 10 years did not produce its famous cranes, it is possible to see them, practically, on each site not only in Ukraine, but Russia also, and other countries of the former USSR. Increased building boom, prompted new management of this plant to develop program of production reconstruction of one of the needed model of crane – КБ 676А . May number of magazine is opened by the report about the conference “Perspectives of market of lifting equipment in common free zone” which was conducted during 18 –21 of May in Odessa. More than 300 participants of the conference from Ukraine , Russia , Byelorussia , Moldova and Poland met in Odessa , in order to discuss urgent problems of the branch, to outline ways of cooperation and elimination of various obstacles for transference of goods, services and man power in frames of CFZ.
