friends. We ask you to pay attention to the following rules of materials
presentation for publication in magazine. Observance of all themes of given
rules will mean, that Your material will be accepted by editorial staff
without additional problems. |
| 1.
Presentation of materials on electronic discs: |
We receive
files on the following:
- 3.5” FDD ( +5 disks for 1 article, it is recommended to dublicate files
in two disks);
- ZIP disk 100M
- CD, CDR, CDRW;
- Hard disks (IDE);
- By e-mail (no more than 15 Mb, each message must be less than 1 Mb); |

2. Permissible programs: |
Preparation
of publication to print it is necessary to carry out in the following programs:
- Adobe PageMaker 6; 7;
- Adobe Illustrator 8;
- Corel Draw 8, 9, 10, 10, 11 |

If your publication is prepared in other program, you must contact
with specialists of our editorial staff and to define, what to do. |
| 2.1.
General requirements: |
| 2.1.1. Printing.
It is necessary to have colored or white-black printing. Otherwise, it is
impossible to check correctness of model; |
2.1.2. Files.
If you are going to present publication, it is necessary to do one more
folder with the name of the project, and to put files of publication and
all connected files.
Fonts/ it is necessary to place in separately folder FONT. It is bit necessary
to create any other folders! |
In names
of files we directly recommend to use only English letters and figures.
It is not permitted to do gaps, bruckets (including oblique lines “_”)?
Special symbols (for example “#”), Russian symbols, signs of punctuation
and unnecessary dots-by dot is separated only file’s widening.
Ignoring of this rule will lead to problems.
Besides, try not to use names of connected files of type <1.tif>,
it can lead to appearing of <namesakes> in various folders and to
hamper future collection of publication for sending into service bureau. |
2.1.3. Fonts.
If publication includes fonts. Nit formatted into curves, it is necessary
to attach files of prints. It is recommended to use prints of one type,
postscript or True Type.
It is better to use prints Postsctipts. Name of prints True Type and Postscript
Type 1 must not coincide. It can lead to mutable.
EPS files mustn’t include prints. It is necessary to use only prints, which
are used in publication.
All used prints must be placed in separate folder FONTS. |
| Attention!
Operation of graphic from RGB into CMYK and very responsible procedure,
which requires bull understanding of the theory of colour and mechanism
of its reproduction on various devices, for example, printing press. So,
if You are not sure, that You can carry out this operation in a proper way,
it is better to present RGB files and our specialists will do this function. |
| 2.1.5. Formats
of graphics. Objects of graphics we accept in colored model of
CMYK, in formats TIF (without LZW compression, without unused Alfa channels
and ways). |
| 2.1.6. Resolution.
Recommended resolution for elements – increasing in 1,52 times. Standard
value lineature – 175ipi, More reduced values bad to possible deterioration
of quality, exertive resolution increases time of operation.. |
