Reconstruction of production of tower cranes in Ukraine – it is really – this is point of view of “Nikopol crane building plant”. In the middle of the 90 – th, this plant was the leader of tower cranes production in the countries of the former USSR. But even now, when the plant almost during 10 years did not produce its famous cranes, it is possible to see them, practically, on each site not only in Ukraine, but Russia also, and other countries of the former USSR. Increased building boom, prompted new management of this plant to develop program of production reconstruction of one of the needed model of crane – ÊÁ 676À . Details of this event, read in report of editor in chief of magazine Tetyana Gerasymova, and in commentary to it of the general director of the trade house of Nikopol production amalgamation “Nikopol crane building plant” – Andrew Samodurov, by which July issue of edition is opened.
The main mechanization devices in construction are tower cranes, which carry out up to 98% of all loads – conveying operations during assembly of constructional elements. To problems and perspectives of tower crane production, is devoted the article of one of the authoritative Ukrainian designers, director of SDTB “Yugcraneproject”(city of Nikopol) A.V. Terechov. In this article is presented comparative characteristic of cranes ÊÁ – 473, ÊÁ –474, ÊÁ – 573, ÊÁÏ – 160, ÊÁ – 676Ô and the cranes of firm Liebherr, model 154EC – H6. To the theme of tower cranes was devoted last meeting of the boards of the State labor protection and supervision agency of Ukraine, on which were examined reasons of tower crane fall in Kiev, at the 12 –th of May 2004. Commission on investigation causes of this accident, in result of which the crane operator died, found out that during assembly and operation of the crane, there were many violations, which together lead to negative results. About this was said on the meeting of the council of the biggest state building corporation “Ukrstroy”, which took place in Odessa in the middle of July. The author of the article analyzed the state and reasons of accident rate and traumatism on lifting equipment in Russia in 2003 year, and also told about activity of his agency in this year.
